Our Mission

The mission of this organization is to make sick people well and as a result bring healing to the plant.  We are requesting physicians, practitioners and healing minded individuals to come together in a spirit of pooling resources in a collaboration effort to heal the planet.  Unlike many  other organization whose primary mission is to further and promote their personal agenda, the Independent Order of Missionary Medicine is committed to making sick people well by any  means necessary without the prejudice of any one particular method, or modality. The Independent Order of Missionary Medicine began its journey and calling in North America September 2007 in  Boise, Idaho, where it is charted and based.  The journey moves on to calling physicians, practitioners and healing minded individuals from throughout the world.

Independent Order of Missionary Medicine is the only organization of its kind that integrates a cross section of health, science, philosophy, methods and modalities into a unified movement and mission of global healing.   It represents an interdisciplinary collaboration of western, eastern, ancient and modern treatment practices. Although the success rate of combined therapies have been proven again and again, many physicians have been reluctant to explore and utilize other resources in their practice.  The IOMM presents that option to you through education,  training and certifications.  Members benefit through:

1.  the ability  to integrate additional treatment tools and services within their existing practice,    

2.  access to a broad interdisciplinary knowledge base

3. respond proficiently to patient questions and requests for alternative treatments,

4. enjoy heightened expertise and prestige within the community, and

5. lead your peers into 21st Century health care practices.
